Memory of my mind, 2026
Memory of my mind explores fleeting moments of light and space within everyday life. Scenes of familiar places, individuals and everyday experiences are rendered with heightened emotions transforming these seemingly ordinary experiences to reveal past memories and experiences. Through photography I attempted to capture these transient experiences, moving beyond the moment the image was captured to trace a part of my memory and identity, allowing the past to resonate within the present.

A vision of myself and my past
To a small me
Some days when I stand still or walk, certain moments unexpectedly stand out to me. These places, people, and experiences begin to appear familiar and within these banal moments my senses sharpen and emotions become amplified.
I'm drawn to their impermanence, as they trigger memories and sensations of how I perceive the world as a child. Fragments of my memory blend and intersect creating a emotional landscape that is difficult to name.
Though photography I attempt to preserve and reflect on these experiences from within the present. Looking beyond the moment the photograph was taken. In doing so, I revisit my history and identity and reconnect with how I perceived the world as a child.
